David Sargent - Principal David is a Civil Engineer with over 30 years experience in business management and project management in water resources; engineering hydrology; flood studies, flood risk management; river engineering, hydraulics and computer modelling. He has international experience in U.K., Malaysia, Thailand, Burma, Indonesia, Philippines, Fiji, Mauritius, Saudi Arabia, Mozambique, Jordan and Somalia. Four of the projects for which David has been responsible have received Engineering Excellence Awards demonstrating the high standard of his work. David graduated from the University of London in 1968 with a B.Sc. (Eng) in Civil Engineering f (University College - First Class Honours) and in 1975 with an M.Sc. in Engineering Hydrology also from the University of London (Imperial College). David was awarded the Goldsmid Medal and Vernon Harcourt Award from University College London in 1968 and in 1982 was awarded the David M Watson Award for the best published papers by the Institution of Public Health Engineers. David is a Chartered Professional Engineer in Australia (Member, Institution of Engineers Australia; Member, National Register of Professional Engineers) and a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ). |
